Job Description |
■ Translation, editing, feedback ・Responsible for translating original content into English, such as analysis reports for approximately 560 industries. ・Responsible for translating and editing internal materials (event materials, internal manuals, etc.) and external materials (DEIB reports, sales materials, etc.) into English. ・Provide team members with feedback that contributes to improving the quality of translations, while also working with the analysts who wrote the original text to improve the quality of the content. ■ Promotion of improvement efforts ・Participate in and promote projects that transform the English-translated content into attractive English content, rather than simply translating it. ・Responsible for promoting improvements to the team's work process, in addition to translation work. ※If there is a possibility that the place of work may change in the future, we will inform you at the interview. <About this position> We consider translation work to be more than just a conversion of words; we consider it to be content production = localization, which creates added value by adding editing that properly reflects the intention. Job Requirements |
<Required requirements> [Experience] - Those with 5 years or more of work experience at a business company - Japanese language ability: Near-native level (N1 or above) - Those with practical experience in business translation from Japanese to English (not limited to professional translators, but those with experience in translating various documents for internal and external use such as contracts, manuals, websites, and IR materials) [Work attitude] - Those with the skills to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously while considering deadlines and priorities - Those who enjoy working with various stakeholders and can grow together with their team and members - Those who are comfortable communicating (text and meetings) and carrying out work in online environments such as Slack and Zoom <Preferred requirements> - Those with knowledge and strong curiosity about business, finance, and economics - Those with experience in improving business processes using Excel, VBA, etc. - Those who are comfortable using new technologies and tools such as machine translation <Recruitment process> Document screening → 1st interview → 2nd interview → Final interview *The number of selection rounds and content may change. |
